TANZANIA, AFRICA

in 2018

My favorite mission trip so far was to Tanzania. In Tanzania I was actually given a platform for a gathering to preach and to pray for the sick. There was such joy in their eyes even though they had nothing. The month I was there gave me the revelation that I wanted to spend the rest of my life preaching the gospel and taking care of those who are less fortunate.

MEXICO

Another Mission Trip I took was to Tecate, Mexico. In Mexico we got to serve orphans at a boys orphanage. We also went into a landfill where poor people live in makeshift trash homes and try to collect aluminum and other metals in order to get any type of money to help provide for their families. I met this family who lives together in the trash pile and they barely eat because its so hard to get any metals to make money.

NEW YORK

In 2016

I took a Mission Trip to New York where we served the poor and needy in Spanish Harlem. We took care and cleaned up the soup kitchen as well as went and did mini service projects for the “in need” community. My favorite part was visiting the battered women shelter. I meet this little angle named Nevaeh. At first she was standoffish, but in a few hours she completely opened up to me and was making me give her piggy back rides and doing pushups with her on my back. For that night I felt like I had another sister.
